Bill Redfern: A Portrait of Success

June 25th, 2013 - Posted by Admin

Bill Redfern‘s passion to succeed and willingness to take calculated risks have enabled him to achieve every one of his life’s goals. By the age of 35 he had already established himself as one of Canada’s top-producing real estate brokers. During his time in real estate, Redfern exposed fundamental flaws in how the home-inspection industry operated. Convinced that a change was necessary, he decided to take action: In 2007, he opened the doors to the first A Buyer’s Choice franchise.

Since that time, the company has grown at a nearly unprecedented clip. To date, over 190 franchises have been opened. And while A Buyer’s Choice primarily operates out of the United States and Canada, franchises have been launched in six other countries. Plans for further expansion are currently in the works.

Ask Redfern why he left his comfortable career as a broker to start a new business and he’ll tell you that he wanted to provide entrepreneurs with an alternative means of running a successful home-based business.

Redfern’s success story extends beyond his career. He is an avid athlete, who at the age of 46 completed his first half marathon. The very next month, Bill Redfern participated in and completed an international distance triathlon. The always ambitious Redfern is currently training for a half Ironman, planned for this fall.

Bill Redfern has also used his athletic ability for good. Just recently, he walked in the fourth annual Walk the Walk for Autism. It marked his second appearance as a participant in the event.
